Chromaticity, turbidity, suspended solids detection

Experimental equipment and consumables

Some distilled water, one 100-1000μL pipette, one 1-5ml pipette (other standard measuring tools can also be used), several matching pipette heads, one pair or one 50mm glass cuvette

Reagent preparation

No reagent consumables, no configuration required

Detection method:

(Estimate the chromaticity, turbidity, and suspended solids value of the water sample, and perform the detection according to the following steps)

 Wear protective equipment as required during operation, and avoid contact with skin and clothing.

 Don’t throw away the discarded reagents and the residual liquid after detection. They should be disposed of properly and safely.

 If the indicated value of the instrument is not within the range of the test range, it cannot be regarded as the final test result. If you have any questions, please consult the after-sales service.

① When the chromaticity value of the estimated water sample is 0-500PCU or the turbidity is 0-100NTU or the suspended matter is 0-500mg/L:

A. Turn on the Detector to warm up

B. Take 2 clean and dry cuvettes

C. Blank sample: add distilled water to an empty dish to 2/3 of the height of the cuvette

D. Sample to be tested: Add the water sample to be tested to 2/3 of the height of the cuvette in an empty dish (if the water sample to be tested is not uniform, please shake it well and take a sample)

E. Select the chromaticity 0-500PCU or turbidity 0-100NTU or suspended matter 0-500mg/L detection item on the Detector, according to the operation prompts, do blank calibration first, and then measure the sample to be tested (please ensure the blank before testing The outer walls of the sample dish and the sample dish to be tested are clean and free of scratches)

F. Data direct reading and printing

② When the estimated chromaticity value of the water sample is greater than 0-500PCU or the turbidity is greater than 0-100NTU or the suspended solids are greater than 0-500mg/L:

The water sample needs to be diluted to a color value of 0-500PCU or a turbidity of 0-100NTU or a suspended solid of 0-500mg/L, and the test shall be carried out according to the test method ①, the water sample concentration = the instrument indication value × the dilution factor.
