The measurement of paint skinning mainly includes two aspects, one is the skinning situation of the paint in the closed barrel, and the other is the speed of skinning during the use process after opening the barrel.
(1) Airtight test. Use a glass bottle with a screw top cover to fill in 2/3 of the sample volume, tighten the top cover, put it upside down in a dark place, and do regular inspections until the crust is formed. During the test, it is recommended to use a sample with known crust properties as a control test at the same time.
(2) Open tank test. Fill the sample to half the depth of the storage tank, open the lid and observe it from time to time until it becomes dry. During the test, it is recommended to also use a sample crystal with known properties and store it with an open cover at the same time, so as to compare the crystallization of the two at different stages.
