Notice:

The meter is calibrated for wood at 20°C (68°F). If the temperature of the wood changes by more than 5°C, the meter will automatically calibrate. Add 0.5% for every 5°C below 20°C or subtract 0.5% for every 5°C above 20°C.

After the wood is injected with water quality preservative, the reading will be higher by 1%-2% 

Special composites have higher splint values, so be careful.

Building material measurement: Select scale A for measurement, and refer to the following table to obtain the humidity value of building materials.

For example: when it is necessary to measure building materials, select gear A for measurement, and refer to the table below, when the measured value is 12, the corresponding building humidity value is 13.3, if the measured reading is 20 , then the humidity value of the corresponding building material is 20.6.
