Rotary ink viscosity measurement

Rotary ink needs to have good fluidity, so the viscosity requirement is relatively low. Generally speaking, the printing speed is directly proportional to the fluidity, the higher the printing speed, the lower the viscosity requirement. The high speed is 2~10 poises, the medium speed is 10~25 poises, and the low speed is about 25~35 poises.

The fluidity of rotary printing ink can be measured with a Viscosity Cup, which is a standard cup with a large relative viscosity. There are different standard Viscosity measurement Cups at home and abroad, such as ISO, DIN cups, JIS Iwata cups in Japan, and domestic general ones. Tu-4 Viscosity Cup.

In the laboratory, use the desktop Viscosity Cup to measure, which is stable and accurate. When measuring on the spot, you can choose a portable one, which is convenient and quick.
