Acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) is a self-adhesive substance, which can form a relatively strong adhesive force under a small force. It is a kind of adhesive that can be tightly bonded to the adherend without resorting to solvents, heat or other means, and only needs to be lightly pressed. According to the morphological classification of pressure-sensitive adhesives, they can be divided into five types: solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesives, aqueous solution-type pressure-sensitive adhesives, emulsion-type pressure-sensitive adhesives , hot-melt pressure-sensitive adhesives, and calendered pressure-sensitive adhesives. The water-based acrylate pressure-sensitive adhesive is the focus of our talk today.

Detection performance
From the above tests, it can be seen that the properties to be tested for water-based acrylate pressure-sensitive adhesives are shown below.
Performance test: ph value, viscosity, non-volatile content, residual monomer, dilution stability, mechanical stability, freeze-thaw stability
Application performance: peel strength; tackiness; initial tack; benzene, toluene, xylene; free formaldehyde; total volatile organic compounds; 6 kinds of harmful substances (lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium , polybrominated biphenyls and polybrominated diphenyl ethers)
