Ionic liquids (ILs) have attracted extensive attention due to their unique properties, including high heat, nonflammability, low melting point, extraordinary solubilizing ability, extraordinary chemical stability, and negligible vapor pressure. Researchers have used different methods to combine PI with IL to prepare thin-film materials for different applications. In this paper, a thin film material with excellent comprehensive properties was prepared by combining ionic liquid (IL) with colorless polyimide (CPI).
