Maintenance and Maintenance of Dissolved Oxygen Electrode

Dissolved oxygen electrode is a sensor used to measure the concentration and content of dissolved oxygen in water quality. A complete polarographic dissolved oxygen electrode is composed of electrode rod, electrode membrane and filling liquid. In daily use, the membrane of the dissolved oxygen electrode should always be kept clean and away from sharp objects. When the cathode and anode of the electrode rod appear black, you need to use a polishing cloth to gently wipe the surface until a bright color appears. After wiping, the cathode and anode can be rinsed with alcohol, and then cleaned with distilled water.

If you do not use the dissolved oxygen sensor for a long time, please remove the membrane at the front of the electrode, pour out the filling solution and rinse the membrane with distilled water, the anode and cathode of the electrode. Use a clean cloth to wipe off any remaining water droplets on any part of the electrode, then install the membrane cap to the electrode rod and store it away from light.
