Ultraviolet ozone cleaning machine is a cleaning machine using the principle of ultraviolet ozone, which is used for rapid cleaning of material surfaces. First of all, let’s take a look at the cleaning process. The specific installation method here is not too long-winded. Different equipment is also slightly different. This issue mainly uses the SC-UV series ultraviolet ozone cleaning machine of Saidecase as an example to share .
Cleaning process
After completing the correct installation and connection of the equipment, the cleaning operation can be carried out. The specific steps are as follows:
1. Turn on the power
Connect the power cord of the device to the socket, turn on the power switch of the device, and the timer display will light up;
2. Put the substrate
Put the substrate to be cleaned into the drawer of the washing machine and close the drawer. Please pre-treat the substrate before cleaning to reduce the cleaning time;
3. Adjust the height
Use the screws on the side of the drawer to adjust the distance between the surface of the substrate and the UV cleaning lamp. See Figure 3 and its description for specific operations.
NOTE: After completing this step, close the drawer, step 5 will only work if the drawer is properly closed.
4. Set the time
Set the cleaning time of the substrate by adjusting the corresponding button on the timer, see Figure 4 for details;
5. Start
After the drawer is closed correctly, press the start button, the start indicator light and UV indicator light are on, and the cleaning starts; the opening and closing of the drawer and the operation of the UV light have an interlock function. In this step, please ensure that the drawer is closed so that the washing machine can work normally.
6. Take the substrate
7.1 Taking slices during the process
When it is necessary to take a piece in the middle of a cleaning process, there are two methods:
· Open the drawer directly to take the film, at this time the UV indicator light is off, and the timer countdown is paused. This situation is only applicable when there is very little exhaust gas in the chamber and is not recommended;
· Press the stop button, at this time the UV indicator light and the start indicator light go out, the timer countdown ends, wait for 5-10 minutes, and take the film after the ozone is completely discharged.
7.2 Finish taking film
When the cleaning process is over, the UV indicator light and the start indicator light are off, and the cleaning is completed. Wait for 5-10 minutes, and the film can be taken after the ozone is completely discharged .
7. Disconnect the power
After finishing using the device, turn off the power switch and unplug the power plug.
Cleaning precautions
1. Pretreatment
Before cleaning, please use a suitable solvent to pretreat the sample to reduce the thickness of the pollution layer and facilitate cleaning .
Note: After cleaning, please ensure that the solvent is completely volatilized, especially for flammable and explosive gases, and the solvent volatilization can be accelerated by passing nitrogen or argon gas .
2. No medium cleaning
If no oxygen is supplied during the cleaning process, it is recommended to open the drawer for ventilation for 1-5 minutes after every 30-60 minutes of cleaning, so as to ensure sufficient oxygen supply for the next cleaning;
3. Cleaning with medium
The introduction of oxygen during the cleaning process can significantly increase the ozone content, improve the cleaning effect and shorten the cleaning time. However, it is necessary to ensure that the flow rate of the incoming medium should be slightly smaller than the exhaust volume of the fan, so that the cleaning chamber will be in a negative pressure state to avoid the leakage of the cleaning exhaust gas into the surrounding environment and cause adverse effects.
daily maintenance
➢ Every 100 hours of operation, the lamp needs to be removed, cleaned with deionized water and wiped clean;
➢ After 5000-10000 hours of operation, please remove the UV cleaning lamp for replacement.
