What are the test subjects for chlorinated polyvinyl chloride resin?

Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride resin is a new type of engineering plastic obtained by chlorinating polyvinyl chloride resin. Because of its good corrosion resistance, flame retardancy and solubility, it is widely used in construction, electrical appliances, metallurgy and other fields. Today I will introduce what conditions should be met in the performance testing of chlorinated polyvinyl chloride resin under the provisions of GB/T 34693-2017.

Item detection

1. The appearance should be white powder.

2. Chlorine content must be ≥65.0%.

3. The number of impurity particles must be ≤30.

4. Apparent density: the extruded type needs to be in the range of 0.50g/mL~0.70g/mL, and the molded type needs to be in the range of 0.55g/mL~0.73g/mL.

5. Residual chlorine should be ≤150μg/g.

6. Volatile matter: ≤0.40.
