The normal natural environment mainly includes high-low temperature, high-low pressure, humidity, sunlight, ultraviolet rays, rain, salt spray, sand and dust, etc. Therefore, the types of tests to be done in environmental climate chambers fall into the following categories.
1. High-low temperature test
Put the sample in a specific high temperature or low temperature environment, and test the storage and use of the sample.
2. Temperature, humidity and heat test
Compared with the high-low temperature test, this type of test increases the humidity, and can test the storage and use of the sample at a specific temperature and humidity at the same time.
3. Thermal shock test
The thermal shock test is also a test of weather resistance characteristics under temperature conditions, but the main purpose of this type of test is to test whether the sample can be repeatedly impacted at high-low temperatures to meet the use requirements.
4. Salt spray test
We are in the natural environment, especially in the ocean and its surrounding environment, the atmosphere has high salt content but obvious moisture characteristics, so we need to test whether the product can be stored or used normally in this environment.
5. Solar radiation (sunshine) test
The sunlight exposure test can test whether the product can meet the standard under long-term sunlight exposure conditions.
6. UV aging test
There are also a lot of ultraviolet rays in the sun. If you want to test whether the product can be used normally under the condition of ultraviolet radiation, you need to do ultraviolet aging test.
7. Rain test (water immersion test)
Rainwater is a common natural environment. At the same time, some products may need to be placed in water for a long time. Therefore, the rainwater (soaking) test simulates the impact of exposure to rainwater, or a certain long-term water depth condition, on the product.
8. Dust test
If some products need to be placed in a sandy environment for a long time in a harsh natural environment, the sand test is particularly important.
