Compression test overview:
Test material hardness and mechanical resistance
Execute a repeated test loop
Test force from 5 grams to 100 kg
Compression testing is the application of a load to a sample to assess the compressive strength before failure.
This test method is widely used to determine the hardness and wear resistance or pressure resistance of materials, etc. Samples are often difficult to hold or grip and require specific tools to support the desired testing process.
The system can perform cyclic procedures for long-term life testing with test forces ranging from less than 5 grams to 100 kilograms (depending on model). At low loads, the rate of loading can be better controlled using compliant load cells, allowing non-destructive testing of very small and tough samples.
Typical applications include:
Socket Insertion Force
plug cut
small coil spring test
Button/Key Resistor
Micro Switch Test
crushing strength
Coating hardness test
Sample dimensions are entered directly into the software so accurate results for unique tests can be obtained. Data is recorded and displayed in real-time panel meters in real time. Multiple loops can be viewed and compared using the Analysis Viewer.
