There are many inspection and maintenance tasks you should complete quarterly on your home's electrical system.
First check the condition of the chamber and its electrical components:
Phasing (suitable for larger installations with 3-phase power)
Check solenoid valve cover and coil
Room has at least 3 feet of clearance from walls
Check heater and wiring and ground wires and wiring harness
Check sensor clip and compressor connection
Contactor/Relay
Quarterly work is also required on the electrical system of the environmental Test Chamber:
Tighten all connections
High Voltage Readout/External Unit
High pressure readings for air conditioning systems
Control voltage reading
Compressor current reading
thermal current reading
Control switch testing (power, heating, cooling and lighting)
test interior lights
Control Panel Cleaning (Vacuum or Blow)
Condenser/evaporator fan current
Preventative maintenance is key to keeping your environmental chamber running for a decade or more. A well-maintained Test Chamber can even last for more than 20 years.
