What is a humidity Test Chamber?

The humidity Test Chamber, also known as the humidity cabinet, creates the necessary conditions for the stability test of various materials. Humidity chambers can be used to simulate various temperature and humidity conditions. Lighting simulations are also very important for some tests.

There are broadly two types of humidity testing chambers: constant climate chambers and dynamic climate chambers. Humidity chambers are commonly used for long-term stability testing and can be used to maintain temperature and humidity at specified levels. Dynamic climate chambers, on the other hand, can be used to run specific test programs in which the temperature and humidity are automatically modified at set times.

Humidity chambers are used in industrial and research environments. Such applications include stress testing of samples, material testing, aging testing, long-term stability testing and use as specific storage facilities.
