Vacuum Ovens are widely used in low-temperature drying in medicine, food, light industry, chemical industry and other industries. It has the advantages of fast drying speed, little pollution, and no damage caused by the inherent quality of dried items. When using a vacuum oven, there are always more or less various problems that make the operator upset and distracted. The following is a brief list of solutions to common faults in vacuum ovens.
1. When the vacuum oven is always unable to dry the material:
reason:
Failure to dry may be due to improper use. Vacuum drying is carried out in a closed environment. If the water vapor after drying is not discharged in time, it will cause water vapor to enter the material again, resulting in drying failure.
solution:
Air is periodically replenished and water vapor is pumped out of the chamber using a Vacuum Pump so the chamber is not always left undried.
2. When vacuum absorption occurs in the vacuum oven:
reason:
The reason for vacuum absorption is to turn off the vacuum oven with pump. The valve should be closed first, then the Vacuum Pump. If the order is reversed, the water or oil in the Vacuum Pump will be sucked back under the action of vacuum negative pressure.
solution:
Sum up experience and operate correctly. If it is easy to make mistakes, it is necessary to add a check valve between the Vacuum Pump and the vacuum oven. When the Vacuum Pump is turned off, the check valve will close the valve immediately and there will be no vacuum suction.
3. When the vacuum oven leaks after several years of use:
reason:
Prolonged use will cause air leakage. There is a possibility that it is not the vacuum oven but the sealing element is damaged and aged.
solution:
Just replace the seals, if that still doesn't fix the problem, the valves are probably broken and you just need to replace some valves.
4. When there is a large difference between the set temperature and the temperature in the vacuum oven:
reason:
The door is opened and closed frequently or the temperature sensor is damaged.
solution:
First, reduce the opening and closing frequency of the door as much as possible or replace the temperature sensor.
