Characteristics of amino paint

Amino paint is mainly composed of two parts. One is the amino resin component, mainly including butylated melamine formaldehyde resin, methyl etherified melamine formaldehyde resin, butylated urea-formaldehyde resin, etc. The second part is hydroxyl resin, mainly including medium and short oil alkyd resin, hydroxyl acrylic resin, epoxy resin and so on.

Except for urea-formaldehyde resin paint (commonly known as acid curing paint) used in wood coatings, the main varieties of amino paint need to be cured by heating. Generally, the curing temperature is above 100°C, and the curing time is above 20 minutes. The cured paint film has excellent properties.

It is hard, full, shiny, durable, and has a good decorative and protective effect. The disadvantage is that it has high requirements for coating equipment and high energy consumption, and is not suitable for small-scale production. Amino paint is mainly used for automobile coating, furniture coating, home appliance coating, various metal surface coating, instrument and industrial equipment coating.
