Sterilization eliminates microorganisms and other tiny particles present on the surface of the product. This sterilization process is mainly performed in the biomedical product manufacturing industry and hospitals to sterilize medical equipment and tools. Hospitals have great requirements for highly sterilized tools and instruments for surgery and treatment. The medical product manufacturing industry requires effective testing equipment that can effectively perform sterilization operations. If the sterilization process is not effectively performed in an appropriate and organized manner, it can create significant deficiencies in the effective execution of operations. Autoclave – A widely used test instrument for performing the sterilization process is the autoclave. The test instrument is capable of generating high pressure and heated steam for sterilization. It is a closed chamber used to generate very high pressurized steam for sterilization. The test equipment is equipped with a pressure gauge and a digital display to accurately monitor the pressure developed in the chamber so that overpressure can be easily avoided. Laboratory Hot Air Ovens – Another instrument widely used for product sterilization is the hot Air Oven. It is a safe instrument for performing sterilization processes. The instrument uses dry air to generate high temperatures in the chamber , effectively sterilizing the instrument. The test equipment is suitably equipped with heating coils and fans to help maintain a uniform temperature within the test cabinet. It is a small test instrument that can effectively and efficiently perform sterilized test procedures. It is a highly safe and suitable method to perform sterilization process as compared to autoclave.
