overview
The solvent resistance Tester is a device for measuring the solvent wiping resistance of coatings, and can be used to evaluate the solvent wiping resistance of coatings. It is mainly to wipe the surface of the sample back and forth with a wiping head with a certain speed and wiping pressure (need to ensure that the contact surface of the wiping head is stained with a proper amount of solvent absorbent cotton). The number of wipes is directly read by the counter. The solvent wipe resistance of a coating can be assessed based on the number of wipes required to break the coating.
Steps
Place the test sample on the fixed plate.
Drip the solvent onto the cotton wool-covered swab until the solvent seeps out of the swab, then place the swab on the slide arm.
Start the number. Set the wiping speed and wiping times according to the needs of the experiment. (Northern and Southern tide suggestions: set the wiping speed to 60 times/minute, that is, the speed control knob points to MAX)
Start the solvent resistance Tester and start working. When the solvent resistance Tester reaches the predetermined number of times, it will automatically stop, and the sample can be removed for observation.

common problem
Q: What should I do if the solvent resistance Tester is temporarily stopped during operation?
Answer: Turn off the power switch of the governor to achieve the shutdown effect. If you want the solvent resistance Tester to continue to work, please turn on the power switch of the governor again, and the solvent resistance Tester will start normally.
Q: What should I do if I want to test again after the solvent resistance Tester stops automatically?
A: Simply press the "reset" button on the counter and the solvent resistance Tester will run again.
