2. Improper manual color correction
For example, when repairing a car, manual color matching is used. Although the color after blending (refers to wet color) is the same as the original car color at that time, after repairing and drying, the color often becomes darker and causes color difference. The main reason is that during the drying process of the wet paint, the color becomes darker due to a series of chemical reactions between the solvent volatilization and the chemical molecular structure in the paint and the oxygen molecules in the air.
3. Stirring is not effective
It mainly refers to metallic paint, such as silver powder paint or pearl paint , which is repaired without sufficient and effective stirring (recommended instrument: magnetic stirrer). Since the metallic pigments are not fully mixed with the paint and distributed evenly, it is easy to cause the upper part of the paint to be light in color with less pigment, and the lower part of the paint to be more dark in color.

For the color difference after repairing the car, if the color difference is slight, it can be eliminated by wax polishing after the paint film is effectively dried. If the color difference is obvious, it needs to be polished and repaired again.
For the color difference produced after repairing various passenger cars, as long as there is no obvious difference between the color of the repair paint and the color of the large surface at a distance of about one meter
Chromatic aberration, can not be reworked. However, when the color difference is obvious in the repair of high-end luxury passenger cars, it must be reworked.
3. Causes and remedial measures of light difference
The reasons for light difference (testing instrument: gloss meter), first, after repairing with new paint, its gloss is often higher than that of old paint; second, the smoothness of the bottom layer has a great relationship with the gloss, the smoother the bottom layer, The gloss after touch-up is correspondingly higher, otherwise vice versa.
