Very powerful and convenient cross cutters are tested on the line of DIN EN ISO 2409, ASTM D3359-02.

The cross cut Tester of the SECOTEST series consists of a sturdy side for six-sided multi-cutting blades and a rotatable non-slip handle to prevent the multi-cutting blades from tilting.

Orthogonal testing can be used to evaluate the adhesion of hard coatings for single and multiple (e.g., steel) and soft substrates (e.g., wood).

In order to ensure that this process is reproducible, the test object is tested on the construction site through a suitable conditioning process (see DIN EN ISO 2409, section 6) in a note of the environmental conditions in the test report.

It can be used to measure viscosity by means of a procedure defined in ISO 4642.
