Constructed from anodized aluminium with reservoirs and beveled blades, the Elcometer 3570 is suitable for high precision hand coating of high viscosity liquids on relatively solid substrates.
By adjusting the inclination of the device with a fine adjustment knob, the film thickness can be adjusted from 0 to 1 mm with a span of 1 micron.
