The MEGA-CHEK coating Thickness Gauge uses a high-precision digital measurement probe in which the analog signal in the probe can be digitized and transmitted directly to the host computer. This technique avoids interference and maximizes the accuracy of repeated measurements. The high-precision probe is connected to the main machine through a special cable, and the probe with different functions only needs to be replaced, without changing the cable, which is extremely cost-effective.

1. Instrument selection:

MEGA-CHEK Pocket FE Type: Equipped with a ISO2178-compliant magnetic induction probe. It is applied to the measurement of the thickness of all non-magnetic coatings on steel, such as paints, plastics, enamels, chromium, zinc, etc.

MEGA-CHEK Pocket FN Model: Equipped with a combination of magnetic induction and eddy current probes for ISO2178 and ISO2360. It is used to measure the thickness of all insulating coatings on non-ferrous metals (aluminum, zinc, copper, etc.), such as anodized films, paints, coatings, etc. It is also used to measure the thickness of all non-magnetic coatings on steel, such as paints, plastics, enamels, chromium, zinc, etc.
