      When a fluid flows through a viscosity Flow Cup hole at a given temperature, the viscosity data provided by the Flow Cup is usually expressed in terms of flow time. From this flow time, the viscosity is calculated to centistrs (cSt).

      Paints, inks, varnishes and similar industries use Flow Cups to quickly calculate viscosity.
