Instructions

1. Put the sample on the circular platform, loosen the star-shaped handle on the cross arm of the SD-J digital display Shore hardness Tester ;

2. Adjust the height of the cross arm until the bottom surface of the indenter of the Shore Hardness Tester is about 5mm away from the tested surface of the sample;

3. Tighten the star-shaped handle on the cross arm of the SD-J digital display Shore hardness Tester ;

4. Press down the handle to make the Shore Hardness Tester read within 1 second when the presser foot and the sample are fully in contact with the weight of the fixed load. The value displayed by the Hardness Tester is the hardness value of the tested sample.

5. In order to improve the test accuracy, test about 5 times at different positions with a distance of at least 6mm between the measuring points and take the average value.
