Introduction
Before spraying, the coating needs to meet the relevant parameters of the paint used, and the paint manufacturer will clearly specify these parameters in the relevant product parameter sheet.
Relative Humidity %RH and ÎT are two important climatic conditions parameters, so they are required in the parameter table .
TÎ: Refers to the difference between the surface temperature of the surface to be worked on and the dew point of the ambient air. When this difference is less than 3Â℃ (5.4ºF), spraying is not possible.
Relative Humidity (RH): Expressed as a percentage, Relative Humidity is the amount of water vapor actually held by the air, compared to the maximum amount of water vapor the air can hold at a given temperature. Typical maximum Relative Humidity values ââspecified by coating manufacturers are between 75% and 85%.
The Elcometer 309 ÎT hygrometer can quickly and accurately measure these two important parameters.
â Rugged and durable design: Elcometer 309 has a dustproof and waterproof enclosed sensor, suitable for use in extreme environments.
â Upper and lower limits: When it is within or beyond the use range, (â) or (X) will be displayed on the screen, accompanied by a red or green light flashing.
1) ÎT is set at >3Â℃ (>5.4ºF), which is the industry standard.
2) Relative Humidity can be customized by the user.
â Lock and release function during measurement: During normal measurement, there will be a button on the screen corresponding to the "lock" function. When the button is pressed, the current real-time data will be locked. When the button is pressed again, the lock will is lifted, thereby continuing to obtain more data.
â Backlight: In some special occasions, the backlight can display data clearly.
