    The Elcometer 211, often referred to as the 'Banana Gauge', is a Type 1 Dry Film Thickness Gauge designed for use in environments where electronic instrumentation is difficult to use, such as in flammable air produced by oil and gas, as well as for underwater coating inspections.

    It is one of the world's most popular mechanical measuring instruments.
