Elcometer 506 F506-50D Digital Adhesion Tester Kit; 50mm

The Elcometer 506 is a lightweight, portable and easy to use adhesion Tester available with analogue or digital adhesion Testers for coating 50MPa (7250psi) suitable for measuring pull-off adhesion either in the field or in the lab.

The Elcometer 506 is designed to ensure easy and uniform pressure application over the entire range when rotating the hand crank, ensuring repeatable results with an accuracy of ±1%.

The Elcometer 506 Quick Connect 14.2, 20 and 50mm diameter dolly fittings and a wide range of accessories allow coating adhesion testing on flat, curved, thick and thin substrates – including metal, wood, concrete and other fibre materials.
     

The Elcometer 506's test head (brake) has been designed to be small, ergonomic and easy to carry - it is an excellent choice for testing the adhesion of coatings with one hand, even in awkward or confined spaces.
 

Safety testing on vertical surfaces is also taken into account. With the magnetic cable clip attachment, the brakes stay secure – preventing accidental damage to the surrounding area.

Coating inspection of low-adhesive substrates

When inspecting coatings on low-adhesion substrates, such as concrete, wood, or other fibrous materials, the surface area of the dolly needs to be large to improve accuracy, repeatability, and reproducibility.

The Elcometer 506 Concrete Adhesion Tester is supplied as a kit or with a single 50mm attachment (support ring, dolly, cutter) which can be incorporated into the Elcometer 506 instrument.
