Introduction

JFB-I Portable Reflectance Meter is a special instrument developed for the implementation of international standards and national standards in chemical industries such as coatings, pigments, and inks. It can be used to measure the hiding power of paint films. The instrument fully complies with the requirements of the national standard ISO3906-1980 (E), national standard GB/T13452.3-92, GB9270-88, GB5211.17-88.

It is used for the determination of the hiding power of white and light-colored paints, and is also commonly used for the comparison test of paints and colored paints.

The indication value of the instrument is directly proportional to the light intensity reflected by the surface under test.

Principle

The instrument consists of a host, a standard board (one black and one black), a charger, etc.

This machine adopts the principle of 0° irradiation and diffuse reflection reception. When the reflected light of the sample acts on the surface of the photocell, an electrical signal is input to the DC amplifier for amplification, and the reading is displayed.
