Introduction

Yonglida LS falling sand wear resistance testing machine is used to test the wear resistance of organic coatings (such as aluminum composite panels or metal sheets, automobiles, etc.) under standard conditions. Let sand grains of a certain size fall onto the test sample from a specified height through the conduit until the base material is exposed , and then weigh the amount of sand required to destroy the paint film. The wear resistance of the laminate film is evaluated based on the standard amount of sand used per unit coating thickness . The test method of this instrument complies with the American industrial standard ASTM D968-83 and the JG/T133-2000 standard.
