Introduction

This instrument is suitable for testing the wear resistance of various coatings, such as floor paint, route board paint, etc. It can also be used to test the wear resistance of textiles, paper, plastics, decorative panels, etc.

The instrument is equipped with two grinding wheels on the working disc. When the working disc rotates, the grinding wheel on the right side rubs from the center of the sample surface to the outside, while the grinding wheel on the left rubs from the outside to the center. Every time the working disc rotates once, the traces of wear on the surface of the sample are composed of two rings that overlap each other and intersect in an X shape. This abrasion method can affect the surface of the sample in all aspects, so the friction is non-directional, which is closer to reality, thus overcoming the disadvantage of reciprocating motion in one direction.

The host of the instrument is composed of transmission, pressurization, working disk, counting and other parts. And equipped with one auxiliary grinding machine and one vacuum cleaner. If there are two or more paint film abrasion instruments, only one grinding machine is needed, and it needs to be explained when ordering.

1. Host:

(1) Transmission part: the output shaft of the motor is connected with the 1:20 turbine gearbox through the elastic coupling, and the working disk is driven to rotate through the turbine shaft

(2) Pressing part: There are four pin shafts installed on the machine base, and the left and right pressing arms are fixed on it in a balanced manner based on the axis. The left and right pressing sleeves are installed in the front holes of the pressing arms and fixed with screws. Of. A grinding wheel is assembled on the mandrel of the pressure sleeve. Tighten with nuts. There is a pin shaft (20 grams of weight) at the end of the pressing arm, which is used for placing the rest of the grinding wheel balance weights. The outer sides of the left and right grinding wheels are equidistant from the center of the working disc at 40mm

(3) Working disc: composed of a disc, a sample plate, screws, washers and nuts. Locate with a pin and fix on the output shaft.

(4) Counting part: the number of running cycles, a number is recorded for each rotation, and it will automatically stop when it reaches the set number.

2. Grinding machine

      A pair of grinding wheels to be repaired are directly installed on the output shaft of the motor and tightened with nuts, and the diamond drill bit is installed in the screw hole of the slider, which can be adjusted forward and backward. The slider is controlled by the hand wheel and the screw rod, and moves left and right in the chute to complete the grinding action.

3. Vacuum cleaner: This is a purchased accessory, which can be placed under the test table to avoid occupying the table. Can be used by main machine or grinding machine.
