Introduction
Free films for the preparation of organic coatings
This paper is sealed on both sides, glossy on one side and matte on the other. The gloss finish has an even-release silicone coating to avoid excessive creep of solvent-based or water-based paints while allowing easy peeling of the dried film. Recommended for use in ASTM D 4708 "Standard Practice for Preparation of Uniform Free Films of Organic Coatings", and can be used in the preparation of ASTM D 2370 "Tensile Strength of Organic Coatings", ASTM D 1653 "Water Vapor Transmission Rate of Organic Coatings" Test methods for thin films, coating films, and other free coating films .
