AP201 is a flagship steam booster pump oil with a particularly high level of oxidation resistance. AP201 is widely considered to be far superior to other low-quality generic steam booster pump oils. Some pump manufacturers specify the use of Apiezon steam booster oils and even warn that using other pump oils will void their warranties.
