Introduction

A reference electrode is an electrode that is used as a reference to compare the potential of various electrodes. Common reference electrodes are calomel electrodes, silver/silver chloride electrodes, etc. The reference electrode is generally paired with a pH indicator electrode, an ion-selective electrode, and a metal electrode to measure the pH value and ion concentration value of a solution or for potentiometric titration analysis.

Applications

232/232-01, 222, 212: Widely used typical reference electrodes with robust and reliable performance. Performance deteriorates at high temperatures (over 70°C). The electrode contains mercury and should not be discarded.  
217: The replenishment solution of the second section of the salt bridge can be selected according to the user's needs. For example, when measuring the low chloride concentration in the sample, the second salt bridge can be filled with potassium nitrate solution to prevent the potassium chloride from the first salt bridge from penetrating directly into the sample and affecting the chloride measurement results.
6802: used for 6801 series sodium ion selective electrode matching.
