Product Features
2000 series visual Colorimeter. When measuring, install the colorimetric disk into the Colorimeter and compare the colors in the left and right fields for visual colorimetry. Optional lighting system can provide constant observation conditions for colorimetry and improve the accuracy of measurement. The measurement method is to match the color of the sample with the color of a certain color slide on the color comparison plate through visual color comparison.
The iodine color scale is specified by the DIN 6162 standard and the color from yellow to brown is defined according to the dilute iodine solution. A chroma value of 1 represents the lightest color and 500 represents the darkest color. Mainly used for colorimetric detection of solvents, plasticizers, resins, oils and fatty acids. Samples with an iodine color scale below 1 unit can be measured using a Pt-Co color scale.
