Overview of SZQ-35MIL Wet Film Applicator

MODERNER SZQ-35MIL wet film coater is a bird-shaped coater that meets the national standard. It is made of high-carbon chromium stainless steel with a hardness value of HRC48±2. It is suitable for sample preparation in the coating and ink industry to measure the hiding power, color, gloss and other properties of coating samples. The wet film thickness that can be prepared by the SZQ-35MIL wet Film Applicator is 650μm. The single-sided wet Film Applicator controls the thickness of the wet film through the depth of the groove. Coaters of different specifications can prepare different wet film thickness values.

Steps

1) Place the sample on the coating platform and fix it. It must not move when the wet Film Applicator slides over it.

2) According to the required wet film thickness, select the appropriate model of wet Film Applicator and place it on the short side of the sample, close to parallel or at a specified position.

3) Then pour about 5 ml of sample in front of the wet Film Applicator, hold both ends of it with your fingers, and slide it at a constant speed of 150 mm/second, that is, apply a wet film with the required thickness.

4) After use, clean and dry the SZQ-35MIL wet Film Applicator with solvent, and apply oil or petroleum jelly on the surface.

Note: The wet Film Applicator should be kept dry when not in use.
