SZQ-4MIL paint applicator overview

The SZQ-4MIL paint applicator is a MODERNER ISO bird-type paint applicator. It uses a high-carbon chromium stainless steel paint applicator. The coating thickness of SZQ-4MIL is 101.6 microns, and the coating accuracy is ±10 microns. Paint applicators are widely used in the paint and ink industry for uniform film production and high quality.

Materials used

The SZQ-4MIL paint applicator uses 9Cr18Mo high-carbon chromium stainless steel, and 9Cr18 is high-carbon chromium martensitic stainless steel bearing steel. It has high hardness and wear resistance, and high high temperature and low temperature dimensional stability.

Operating procedures

First, place the sample on the platform and secure it to ensure that the Wet Film Applicator cannot move when it slides over.

Second, according to the required wet film thickness requirements, select the Wet Film Applicator of the corresponding specifications and place it on the short side of the sample, close to parallel or at a specified position.

Third, pour about 5 ml of sample in front of the Wet Film Applicator, hold both ends of it with your fingers, and slide it at a constant speed of 150 mm/second to finally obtain a wet film with the required thickness.

Fourth, after use, clean and dry the SZQ-4MIL paint applicator with a suitable solvent, and apply oil or petroleum jelly on the surface.
