Description

The testo 830-T4 infrared thermometer is used in a wide range of applications for non-contact surface temperature measurement. Its excellent optical resolution of 30:1 enables accurate measurement of small objects at long distances and is suitable for measuring the surface temperature of various operating or high-risk objects at a safe distance.

This infrared thermometer with 2-point laser aiming measures the surface temperature precisely and quickly (2 measurements per second). The benefits of all products are summarized below:

In addition, the infrared thermometer measures at a frequency of up to 2 times per second, making it suitable for fast surface temperature scanning applications.

Extended functionality of external temperature probes

The testo 830-T4 infrared thermometer can optionally be equipped with an external temperature probe for non-contact surface temperature measurement via infrared at the same time as a contact temperature measurement in another channel (e.g. for comparison). We offer a wide range of different types of thermocouple temperature probes to choose from, such as air temperature probes, liquid and semi-solid media temperature probes, and surface temperature probes.

Comparative testing with a contact surface temperature probe can help determine the emissivity of an object's surface. Input and set the exact emissivity in the infrared thermometer to achieve accurate infrared measurements.

When encountering surfaces with very low emissivity, we recommend using reflective tapes (optional) or selecting contact surface probes (optional) for their temperature measurements.
