Iwata WIDER Spray Gun model description

WIDER1 Gun Upgrade Features
1. Pay attention to functionality - ergonomic design
After the implementation of ergonomics, it was possible to achieve a weight that is 5 g lighter than the conventional one. The various knobs are designed with a deep groove for the bevel, making it easier to fine-tune with effective contact. Smooth paint adjustment is achieved by assembling resin fittings behind the needle valve springs. In addition, the front end of the trigger has been changed to a smooth shape, taking into account the improved handling performance when spraying a small amount of spray.
2. Upgrading - make maintenance easier.
The new WIDER is designed to be easy to maintain. The thread of the aircap has been changed from 1.0 mm to 1.5 mm, so that it can be closed with less than half the rotation of the conventional one, and the back half of the air and paint and needle valve has been changed to an easily detachable shape. In addition, the lower end of the air and paint threaded pipe is designed as a straight type, so that the joint can be easily disassembled.

The previous half of the aircap can be removed

【Needle valve】Easy to remove

[Air Thread Fitting/Paint Thread Fitting] makes it easy to load and unload
3. Line reaction - spray amplitude adjustment device
The conventional spray amplitude adjustment device is almost fully open with a spray width opening of about 45% for one turn, 80% for one turn, and 100% for two turns. The newly developed spray amplitude adjustment device is about 35% for 1 turn, 50% for 1.5 turns, and 70% for 2 turns, and adjusts like a line reaction, making it easier to operate than intuition.

4. Reduce individual differences - air valve sleeve
In the past, the size of the opening part of the air line of the air valve sleeve varied, and depending on the position of the screw (= individual difference), the amount of air may vary, which may affect the amount of paint discharged and the spray amplitude. The new WIDER has improved this structure by unifying the size of the opening and developing an air valve sleeve that reduces individual differences in screw-in screws. As a result, stable spraying can be achieved.
