PN-KLM paper Water Absorption Tester is a special instrument for measuring the capillary liquid absorption height of unsizing paper and cardboard by using the Krem method (Klemm), and the main technical indicators and performance parameters of the product comply with the relevant provisions of ISO8787 "Paper and Cardboard - Determination of Capillary Absorption Height - Krem Method" and GB/T461.1 "Determination of Capillary Absorption Height of Paper and Cardboard".

Principle

A vertically suspended specimen, the lower end of which is immersed in water, the capillary absorption height after a certain period of time is determined, and the absorption time is selected according to the characteristics of the product, such as 10min±10s.

This instrument is mainly used for unsizing paper and cardboard, such as black absorbent paper and other paper with high water absorption, and is not suitable for paper and cardboard with capillary absorption height less than 5mm within 10min.
