PNSHAR PN-IBT Internal Bonding Strength Tester

PN-IBT paper and cardboard internal bonding strength Tester is a testing instrument designed and developed according to the national standard GB/T26203. It is mainly suitable for single-layer and multi-layer paper and paperboard, including coated paper and paper and paperboard covered with synthetic polymers, and is not suitable for paper and paperboard with low weight, multi-empty, soft or low density.

The instrument adopts the Scott type internal bond strength testing method, and its detection principle is as follows: the combination of double-sided tape-specimen-double-sided tape forms a sandwich structure, which is pressed between a metal flat anvil and an aluminum block. The pendulum is struck against the inner surface of the upper part of the aluminum block to flip the aluminum block and destroy the specimen in the Z direction. The energy absorbed during the destruction of the specimen is calculated by determining the highest position of the wobble. It is expressed in terms of the energy (J/m2) absorbed during the destruction of a certain area of paper layers. The control of the internal bond strength is very important for processing multi-layer paper and cardboard, and if the internal bond value is low or unevenly distributed, it can lead to problems when the paper and cardboard are tiled in offset presses using adhesive inks; If the bond strength value is too high, it will make processing difficult and increase the cost of the company.
