        The RDS 3-wire rod coater is mainly used for the preparation of coatings of about 7 microns, which is suitable for coatings, inks, and most fluid industries with precise film thickness (wet film), and the 3-wire rod coater produced by RDS has a total of 4 models according to different diameters and processes, namely 6.35mm diameter forming coating rod and wire wound coating rod, 9.4mm diameter wire wound coating rod and 12.7mm coating rod. In principle, the coating effect is the same for rods with the same wet film thickness, but the amount of coating lost may vary depending on the diameter and process groove.

        The RK imprint bed is a dedicated coating platform consisting of clips, rigid polyester sheets, foam and rubber upholstery. The combination of multiple layers of different materials makes the proofing effect better and improves the uniformity of the coating film.

        Spreader rod length and main rod diameter support customization, but wet film thickness RDS has provided dozens of specifications covering more than 200 microns, and in principle does not accept customization.

        Can this coating rod be prepative of multi-layer ultra-thin film?
        [A]
        The wire rod can be prepared for 1.5 micron ultra-thin film. Everyone must know it, but another advantage of it is multi-layer film, which is much better than I-shaped film applicator. But multi-layer film tests the flatness of the previous layers of film drying. Generally, the film thickness (such as less than 10 microns/layer) is too thin to control. The wire rod with Film Applicator is a very good solution, eliminating the problem of uneven pressure and speed of hand scraping.
