Z-direction tensile strength (bonding strength between layers) refers to the ability of paperboard to resist separation between layers, and it is a reflection of the internal bonding ability of paper. The internal bonding strength can be fully controlled, which is very important for processing multi-layer paper and cardboard. Low or unevenly distributed internal bond values can cause problems laying paper and cardboard in offset presses using tacky inks; too high bond strength values can cause processing difficulties and increase increase the cost of the company. This test is widely used in the printing and packaging industries of multi-layer cardboard such as boxboard, white cardboard, gray cardboard, and white cardboard.

principle
