RDS 23 #3/8 "experimental scraping rod high-precision film thickness 52.6μm

This RDS23# experimental scraping rod is an open process winding rod, the wet film thickness is 52.6μm, the diameter of the steel wire is 0.58mm, and the effective coating width is 30cm.

Open wire rods are one of the special coating rods that reduce clogging and eliminate stitches for higher viscosity coatings. The grooves created by spaced wrap lines are (see picture) and are shallow and allow heavy paint to flow better. The smaller lines create a small break in the paint flow so that the paint can be soaked more completely. Although open wire rods are not as durable as double spools, they are also less expensive.
