Introduction

Color cards are officially issued by the United States for public use to provide exact color standards for the production of military equipment around the worldThe first version of the hairstyle established by the contractor or manufacturer from 1956 totaled 358 colors (model: FED-STD-595A). The second edition was released in 1994611 colors (model: FED-STD-595B) until the third version (Federal Standard Color Card FED-STD-595C) was updated in 2008, adding 39 new colors, a total of 650 colors for the current new version.

5 digits of color number, the first digit describes the glossiness, and the second digit represents the hue of the color for groups 3, 4, 5 (e.g., 10032 is a glossy brown hue)

9 color groups: 0 = brownish, 1 = red, 2 = orange, 3 = yellow, 4 = green, 5 = blue, 6 = gray, 7 = miscellaneous (black, white, gold, silver, violet), 8 = fluorescent

Pages 1~17 are high-gloss colors (code 1, gloss over 80), pages 17~41 are semi-gloss tones (code 2, gloss 30-45), pages 41~65 are dull matte color mode (code 3, gloss 6) (gloss is measured at a 60° angle)
