YN-PHD01 paper smoothness Tester is an intelligent paper and cardboard smoothness performance testing instrument newly designed and developed according to the Principle of the internationally accepted Buick Bekk smoothness Tester. It uses imported vacuum mercury to draw a vacuum from the vacuum container. The required vacuum degree is reached in a very short time. The built-in three test gears of high, medium and low can quickly and accurately measure various samples, and is suitable for paper-making enterprises, packaging and printing enterprises and their related scientific research institutions and quality inspection departments.

Principle

How paper smoothness works: Place paper and cardboard on a glass plate, apply a specific pressure to create a semi-vacuum that draws in air and force it across the contact surface, and measure the time it takes for the vacuum to change within a specified range.
