The SLD-1000Z is suitable for tear resistance testing of films, sheets, soft PVC, polyvinylidene chloride (PVDC), waterproofing membranes, woven materials, polyester, paper, cardboard, textiles and non-woven fabrics. It is widely used in packaging enterprises, papermaking enterprises, quality inspection centers, inspection and quarantine units.
Test principle
Using the principle of the Elmendorff method, the pendulum is lifted to a certain height so that it has a certain potential energy; when the pendulum swings freely, the specimen is torn apart by its own stored energy; the energy consumed when the specimen is torn by the computer control system is calculated, so as to obtain the force required for tearing the specimen.
