Introduction

MODERNER SZQ Wet Film Applicator is a bird-shaped applicator that meets the national standard. It is made of high-carbon chromium stainless steel with a hardness of HRC48±2. It is suitable for sample preparation in the paint and ink industry to determine the hiding power, color, gloss and other properties of paint samples. SZQ-200 (GB bird type) Wet Film Applicator can prepare a wet film thickness of 200μm . The single-sided wet Film Applicator controls the thickness of the wet film through the depth of the groove, and the thickness of the wet film that can be prepared by different specifications of the applicator is different.

Advantages

 SZQ (GB bird type) Wet Film Applicator is mainly used to coat wet films of different thicknesses according to the size of the groove, so as to measure the hiding power of the test, the color and luster or prepare the sample, etc. It has the property of high corrosion resistance, wear resistance and hardness.

Steps

1) Place the template on the coating platform and fix it, and it must not move when the wet Film Applicator slides over.

2) According to the required wet film thickness, select a suitable type of wet Film Applicator, and place it on the short side of the template, close to parallel or at a specified position.

3) Then  pour about 5 ml of the sample on the front of the SZQ-200 (GB bird type) wet Film Applicator, press both ends of it with your fingers, and slide at a constant speed of 150 mm/s, that is, to coat as required thick wet film.

4) The wet Film Applicator should be cleaned and dried with solvent after use, and the surface should be coated with oil or petroleum jelly.

CAUTION: Keep wet Film Applicator dry when not in use.
