1. Place the sample on the platform and secure it so that it cannot move when the Square Applicator slides over it.

2. Place the Square Applicator on the short side of the template, close to parallel or at a specified position.

3. Pour about 5 ml of sample in front of the Applicator, hold both ends of it with your fingers, and slide it at a constant speed of 150 mm/second to obtain a wet film with the required wet film thickness.

4. After using the Wet Film Applicator, immediately clean and dry it with a suitable solvent, and apply oil or Vaseline on the surface.
