Introduction

The LS172B is a smart Colorimeter designed with a 45°/0° optical geometry and is equipped with a 3.5-inch color capacitive touch screen, which is very easy to use when used alone. The instrument integrates multiple standard Color Charts, which can quickly match the measured color to a closer Color Chart number. At the same time, the instrument has the function of color difference, supports a variety of standard color addition methods, the color difference threshold can be set, and the color difference formula can be flexibly selected, which can realize QC rapid detection. It can be connected with the mobile APP and USB cable through Bluetooth to realize color sharing, data import and export, report printing, etc., which is very functional.

Application

The LS172B is very versatile and is designed with a 45°/0° optical geometry that is closer to visual inspection. Equipped with mobile applications and PC software to make the functions more abundant, usually used in paint, test strip printing, decorations, leather cotton, textile printing, plastics and other industries, the product color measurement and management, product color difference quality control, incoming batch detection and other links.

Features 

1. Color measurement can be achieved by pressing the point measurement button or pressing the power button, and the color value can be measured in 1 second.

Two clicks can complete the color difference comparison, turn on the QC detection function, batch detection, color difference threshold can be customized, and quickly achieve quality control. In addition, it provides color bias indication for the three color channels of Lab, making color matching easier and more convenient.

2. The instrument adopts a 3.5-inch IPS color capacitive touch screen, which does not need to be operated by buttons, and is simple and convenient to operate.

3. The instrument can be connected to the mobile phone APP, or connected to the PC software, covering Android, iOS, Windows system, and the display can be switched between Chinese and English at will.

4. Built-in standard electronic Color Charts worth 1,000 yuan (RAL, Pantone, NCS), which can quickly match the 3 Color Chart numbers that are relatively close, with an accuracy rate of more than 90%. There's no need to carry a heavy Color Chart.

5. The instrument has a variety of color spaces such as Lab\RGB\CMYK and a variety of color difference formulas to match the color measurement needs of various industries.

6. The instrument has a large built-in storage space, which can store 1000 colors and 1000 color difference comparison records respectively. By using it with APP or computer software, it can store a large amount of custom color data.

7. Color data can be imported and exported through mobile APP or PC software, and the data can be shared through WeChat, QQ, email, etc. or downloaded to PC for color management.

8. LS172B adopts the new AS7261 chip-level color sensor launched by AMS in the United States, and the accurate XYZ tristimulus color sensing function simulates the human eye response curve of the standard observer defined in the CIE1931 and CIE1976 color systems.

9. The instrument has a built-in compensation optical path, the value is stable, and it allows long-term calibration. The case back has an integrated calibration whiteboard, eliminating the need for cumbersome operations.

10. The instrument is equipped with a measurement positioning plate to meet the needs of accurate alignment and make the measurement more accurate.

11. The Type-c interface can not only be charged, but also used for data transmission, and the instrument has a built-in lithium battery, which can be continuously tested 10,000 times when fully charged. You can set the default auto-shutdown time.

Precautions

1. When the battery of the instrument is empty, it should be charged in time.

2. Due to the color difference of the LCD screen display, the color displayed on the instrument screen is for reference only.

3. When the instrument has not been used for a long time, it is recommended to use it after calibration.

4. Please make sure that the sample is uniform and the surface is flat and clean, otherwise the measurement accuracy will be affected.

5. The base should be stored in a clean place after being removed from the main unit to avoid staining the standard board.

6. Do not insert any object into the instrument to clean it, as this will damage the instrument and affect the measurement accuracy and operation safety.

7. If the instrument is not used for more than half a year, it needs to be charged regularly to prevent the battery from being damaged by over-discharge.
