Introduction

Qiwei glass electrode is a dedicated electrode for industrial on-line pH meters. It is generally used to measure high temperature electrodes, and the temperature range used is 0~80°C. Glass electrodes are divided into ordinary electrodes and electrodes with temperature compensation. The use of ordinary glass electrodes requires manual temperature compensation. The electrodes with temperature compensation can be automatically temperature compensated without manual temperature compensation. In appearance, the electrode with temperature compensation adds two temperature compensation probes, a total of four probes, while the general glass electrode only has two probes. The length of the industrial electrode glass probe is 5 meters.

Features

1. The glass electrode of the pH meter should be installed with an electrode installation bracket or a Flow Cup, and the glass electrode should not be placed directly in the water.

2. Before installation, use raw material tape (3/4 thread) to do waterproof sealing work, so as to prevent water from entering the glass electrode of the pH meter and causing a short circuit of the internal cable.

3. After the glass electrode is connected to the online pH meter, first connect the pH meter to the power supply and preheat it for 30 minutes before calibrating.

4. When performing the calibration of the working electrode, please note that the glass electrode cannot be placed horizontally, but should be placed vertically.

Note: The glass bulb of the electrode is facing down to prevent the MV data of the electrode from being deviated.

use maintenance method

1. When measuring, unscrew the protective bottle, pull out the electrode, wash it with deionized water or distilled water, and then use it.

2. There should be an appropriate amount of 3.3M KCL bubble solution in the protective bottle at the front of the electrode, so that the glass electrode head can be immersed in it, which can keep the activation of the glass bulb and the liquid junction.

3. Before use, check whether the glass electrode joint of the online pH meter is dry and clean. If there is any stain, you can use absolute alcohol to wipe it clean and dry it before use.

4. Calibration method: Use the two-point method to calibrate the glass electrode, use PH6.86 buffer solution to calibrate the position, and then use PH4.01 or PH9.18 buffer solution to determine the slope.

5. After using the glass electrode, clean the glass electrode and insert it into the protective bottle and tighten the bottle cap to prevent the solution from seeping out.

cleaning method

The glass bulb of the glass electrode and the polytetrachlorethylene annular liquid junction are polluted. The cleaning reagents that can be used are:

1) Surfactant.

2) For calcium precipitates or metal hydroxides, 10% dilute hydrochloric acid or distilled water can be used.

3) 10% dilute hydrochloric acid or distilled water can be used for sulfide precipitation.
