The HYL-101 Scott Volumetric Bulk Density Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the national GB5060-85 "Measurement of Bulk Density of Metal Powders Part 2: Scott Volumetric Method"; it also complies with the adoption of international standards. ISO 3932/2 "Determination of bulk density of metal powders - Part 2: Scott's volumetric method". This test device is suitable for powders that cannot flow freely through the funnel with a hole diameter of 5mm in the funnel method and whose properties are easily changed by the vibrating funnel method. An instrument specially used to measure the bulk density of metal powders. It is suitable for testing the bulk density of various metal powders.

The Scott volumetric bulk density meter has four quartz glass plates with an inclination angle of 25° in the middle. The falling flow of metal powder will contact the quartz glass plates in sequence, which slows down the falling speed and reduces the impact force. This reduces the testing error of bulk density of metal powder.
